Happy Thanksgiving
A gratitude practice
“Give thanks, and be in a position to receive thanks.” In this short video, Huberman PhD describes the immense effects of a regular practice of giving and receiving gratitude.
Two ways to practice Gratitude
Express thanks to somebody. Be specific and genuine.
To my subscribers, I am grateful to you for reading my newsletter. Maybe it’s a small thing for you to read this email, but I do put thought and effort into it, so I appreciate it. It gives me the motivation to keep writing, even on days when I don’t want to.
Incorporate gratitude into your mindfulness practice.
Allow yourself to feel once more the good you experienced in your day. Maybe before you go to sleep, ask yourself… what was the best part of today? and allow yourself to express and feel gratitude for that moment.
