Mindfulness vs Meditation
a brief explanation
Mindfulness is the state of being present and aware to what is happening within and around you. Meditation is a mindfulness practice that you can use to be present to your own feelings & thoughts. One is a practice; one is more of a state of being.
Can you think of other mindfulness practices besides meditation? Here are a couple:
Going for a walk
Deep Breathing
Coloring
Yoga
Journaling
Mindfulness practices can help you focus on a thought, task, or feeling. They can also help you release your thoughts and feelings too.

Before you go on to the next thing, try this with me. Put your phone down and take 5 deep breaths, each one deeper and slower than the one before.
Good job, you just practiced mindfulness!
