Fear of failure
There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure.
I actually disagree with this quote. It’s okay to be afraid, especially if something looks scary or feels extremely difficult so long as you don’t let it stop you or define you. You are allowed to do something scared, and that action makes you brave. There is no courage without fear, otherwise it would just be another easy task to complete.
Exposure therapy is the practice of gradually exposing yourself to the scary thing over time which should make you more comfortable with the fear. You can challenge yourself to take steps towards that which you are afraid of or a therapist can also help create a safe environment for you to imagine or confront the limiting fear.
Lastly, what can motivate you to confront your fear? I believe that love can make you brave. The love you have for yourself, experience from someone or something greater, or hope to share with someone else can be greater than the fear that is trying to limit you. Tap into the love which is greater than fear.
