3 Lessons Learned
38 isn’t old, but it’s not young either. Here are 3 life lessons learned:

1. Every investment I made compounded
5 years ago, I began seriously investing into my retirement. Now I’m on track to retire at the age I want to.
10 years ago, I invested in a master's in counseling psychology, and now I’m a therapist running my own practice. I also started my own therapy, and that has improved my relationship with myself and others.
15 years ago, I started meditating daily and working out 3-4 times a week. I attribute much of my physical and mental health today to the care I put into my body.
2. Life is humbling
At 28, I thought I had it pretty much all figured out. My professor told me that she thought she knew everything she needed to at that age but realized there’s always work to do. Life is humbling.
While I acknowledge the progress I made, I still have room to grow.
3. It’s never too late to start
It’s easier to start early, but it’s never too late to start. You only become old when you believe you can't grow anymore.
