Starting a new thing

Men's Group Therapy

Men’s Therapy Group

I’m excited and a little nervous to announce that I am finally starting an online Men’s Therapy Group. I believe it’s an unmet need in our society, and I want to create a place of belonging, courage, and accountability. I also hope it can lead to greater awareness and growth in thoughtful communication with other men.

If you or someone you might know think they can benefit from this group, share this link or the flyer below with them. It may not be for everyone, but I’d like to believe the potential for this group to really benefit the growth of the men who attend. This I then hope creates a positive and lasting effect for those people around them.

Although Group therapy does not replace individual therapy for deep trauma work, there are many benefits:

  • Learn from other group members who are also learning from you.

  • Develop a sense of belonging.

  • Practice vulnerability and communication with others.

  • Although the therapist will facilitate the group therapy, the members are the ones who learn, process, and heal through their active listening and sharing.

  • Practically, group therapy is cheaper than individual therapy and can be a supplement to individual therapy.
