The Secret to Confidence
My last post of the year
Fulfillment
I had one goal when it came to writing this newsletter. Write and release a newsletter every week. Aside from an intentional one week break, I ultimately achieved what I set out to do. I am happy because I fulfilled a promise I made to no one but myself and that makes me feel successful. This is the secret to confidence: doing what you say will do.
Questions to reflect on?
What goals or promises have you made to yourself this year?
Which of there were you able to achieve? or make progress on?
What unexpected benefits did you gain from pursuing your promises or goals?
Unexpected benefits
An unexpected benefit of my weekly posts is that I now have just about 80 subscribers. Of you all, I have an open rate of about 70%. That’s amazing. I also feel connected to my readers through my writing!
Success compounds upon success. When you develop the confidence to do something difficult, you end up doing more difficult tasks because you develop the belief to achieve them. Knowing I was able to write every week since I started last year, I have the confidence to do it again. Because I reached 80 subscribers, I have the confidence to reach 100 more.
Confidence is simply proving to yourself, not anybody else, that you can do it!
